Shipment receiving (Inbound)

Updated on 18/08/2025

When delivering shipments to Boxme’s fulfillment centers, drivers do not need to call in advancebut should deliver correctly to the address provided on the Delivery Note. In cases where the address cannot be located or if any issues arise, please contact Boxme’s Customer Service for assistance.

Upon arrival at the fulfillment center, the delivery driver should bring all relevant shipment documents and the Delivery Note to register at the security gate for a queue number and an estimated receiving time.

We apply the FIFO process based on the registration time at the security gate and instruct drivers to wait until they are notified for receiving.

In cases where the driver forgets or provides incomplete warehouse shipment documents, they may coordinate with the receiving staff to have the documents reprinted. However, we reserve the right to refuse receipt if the shipment documents are invalid or do not comply with the accepted standards.

During the unloading and receiving process:

  • Unloading staff must follow the instructions to separate SKUs into individual cartons or pallets according to SKU and expiration date.
  • We conduct simultaneous counting to speed up the receiving process. Goods that do not meet the requirements may be returned in accordance with the delivery instructions registered by the seller in our system.
  • The Shipment Receiving Report will have signatures and stamp by the warehouse inbound team, serves as the basis for us to handle any complaints in the event of a dispute.

The following scenarios may arise:

  • In cases where the driver arrives on time as scheduled, waiting may still occur if the handling process takes longer than expected.
  • If the driver arrives earlier than the scheduled time, we will evaluate and consider the possibility of receiving at that time to avoid conflicts with other customers.
  • If the shipment arrives on the correct date but more than 3 hours later than the scheduled time, the driver may be required to queue and wait.
  • If the shipment arrives significantly later than planned, additional overtime charges may apply.
