Boxme’s system allows sellers and customer management teams to monitor orders that are delivered later than the committed timeframe. Delivery delays may be caused by the following reasons:
- Incorrect Buyer Information or Delivery Address.
- Recipient Unreachable or Rescheduled Delivery.
- Uncontrollable External Factors: Weather conditions such as storms, floods, fog, or natural disasters can disrupt transportation and cause delivery delays.
- Carrier-Related Issues: High order volumes during mega sales events, staff shortages during public holidays, or operational errors can impact delivery schedules.
- Remote or Hard-to-Reach Locations: Deliveries to islands, mountainous regions, or areas with poor infrastructure may be delayed due to weather conditions or limited transportation access.
In case the delivery is later than committed, the seller can check the order itinerary to understand the exact reason, then coordinate with Boxme’s operations department in case the order needs to be processed urgently.
Boxme always proactively monitors high-risk orders for processing before receiving information from the seller. If a serious problem arises during the delivery process, Boxme will immediately notify the customer for timely handling via ticket or group chat.
Sellers can monitor and handle undelivered orders under the “Problem” section, as shown in the guide below:
