In the past, Boxme has been using bubble wrap as a packaging material to ensure the best condition and quality for products during transportation. However, alongside this, after a period of work and receiving customer feedback, we have identified specific customer experiences that have not been emphasized enough:
Not eco-friendly material, long-lasting affection
Material such as bubble wrap is a kind of plastic. Due to being made from plastic, despite its ability to provide effective product protection, the decomposition time is prolonged, impacting the environment for over 100 years.

The unboxing experience takes many times and hidden risks
With small-sized cosmetics products such as lipsticks, masks, and serums,.. after rolled with bubble wrap, customers have to use a knife/scissor to cut the protection layer from goods. This causes many difficulties as well as accidents for customers while unboxing products.

Cause many reasons as well as Boxme
For the aforementioned reasons, in conjunction with Boxme drawing on the experiences from foreign markets and aiming towards the greening of the logistics industry, we have decided to introduce a new packaging solution for small cosmetic products.
Boxme changes packaging materials from bubble wrap to honeycomb paper

Guide the Quality control feature for returned/refused product
In order to ensure the quality and accurately determine the condition of the goods upon arrival at the warehouse, Boxme applies the QC Regulation (with fees) according to the standards for all returned products.
Customers can also directly view the QC results on the return order system.
For return orders – orders with the RE order code, after being returned, will undergo quality control (product quality check). After inspecting the product quality, Boxme will notify the results through the system. After being announced on the system, customers have 24 hours to choose between Importing the goods into the warehouse/Not importing the goods into the warehouse.
If customers agree to import the goods into the warehouse after QC, Boxme will proceed to import the returned goods into the warehouse for the customer. If customers do not respond to the notification after 24 hours, Boxme will proactively proceed to import the items into the warehouse.
How to use Quality Control feature?
Step 1:
After logging into your account, on the main screen, you will select “Orders” and choose “Return“.
The system will display a list of return orders and the corresponding information for each order, including:
- Order
- Status
- Type
- Product
- Quantity
- Total fee
- Note with specific order

Step 2:
To track detailed information and updates on the status of the products after QC, customers can select “Orders” from the menu. The main screen will display complete return information and the QC status of the products.
The return information will include:
- Information of which Warehouse receiving returns (including address/phone number of the receiving warehouse)
- Order information (including return order code/shipping code/cost/status/reason/creation time/warehouse receiving time/counting SLA)
Additionally, Boxme also includes images and notes in the QC Results section to help customers easily assess the condition of the goods and make decisions regarding whether to import the returned goods into the warehouse or not.
After inspection, customers can choose to “Approve” or “Reject” the import into the warehouse for each return order.

[Boxme Announcement] Product and service update in June 2023
Boxme always wants customers to feel safe when using our service so we strive every day to optimize the operation process of our service. For the convenience of sellers, Boxme would like to inform customers of our services and product in 06/2023.
1. Regulations on product quality control
The classification of Category D goods aims to clearly distinguish responsibilities and the quality of goods stored in Boxme’s warehouse, differentiating them from new. At the same time, it enhances transparency and reliability for customers when using Boxme’s services during the entire period.
However, alongside that, we have also received much feedback and contributions from customers regarding the confusing nature of Category D labels and the poor experience for buyers. We have noticed that labeling goods as D1, D2, and D3 can create some negative experiences for recipients, compromising aesthetics or raising doubts for buyers.
Starting from June 15th, 2023, Boxme will discontinue labeling goods as Category D on customer products. Customers can rest assured that the classification history of goods and their storage locations in the system can be provided during each inventory check or complaint.
Currently, Boxme continues to improve the classification process during warehouse intake, quality testing of returned goods at the Boxme warehouse, and clearly identifying Category D positions on shelves for each customer with fully prescribed labels to best meet the transparency management needs for customers’ products.

Starting from June 1st, 2023, Boxme will implement the Quality Control (QC) regulations, which will incur a fee, for all returned goods to accurately classify the condition of incoming goods. Customers can view the QC results directly on the return order management system.
Product Quality Testing Standards (Applicable to incoming goods or returns)
2. Changing packaging standards, and reinforcing goods with inflatable bubble materials.
To reduce environmental pollution from plastic waste, Boxme is implementing the following improvements in the reinforcement and packaging standards for goods using inflatable foam:
- For small and lightweight cosmetic products that require reinforcement with bubble wrap, a single wrap will be applied. Similar products can be wrapped together, and paper padding will be used instead of the current method of inserting items.
- For household appliances, large items, and fragile goods: We will apply a double layer of wrapping before placing the items in cardboard boxes and paper padding will be used for cushioning.
- For products that specifically require “Bubble Packaging,” we will use large-sized inflatable foam for packaging and use PE film to secure the package, ensuring both safety and aesthetic appeal.
- Priority will be given to the use of recycled plastic and bio-based materials in packaging production.
- The “Bubble Packaging” method will not be applied to small products with a total of three dimensions less than 70cm.


To protect the environment and minimize plastic waste, Boxme also encourages customers to invest in environmentally friendly materials such as paper and cardboard instead of recycled plastic products. This contributes to creating a sustainable living environment.
3. Consolidating commitment to order processing for regular orders
To provide a consistent perspective on the service quality of Boxme, we are consolidating the commitment to order processing for regular orders, which includes two criteria.

4. Regulations on scheduling the delivery of batches of goods to the warehouse
Scheduling delivery is a mandatory requirement before the batch of goods is delivered to the warehouse. This helps Boxme proactively allocate resources to receive and warehouse the goods as per the commitment. Also, don’t worry if the delivery time is different or changes, as Boxme is always ready to serve during working hours.

Customers can also check the status of their delivery requests to the warehouse. For each batch code, there will be displayed information about the status, expected delivery schedule, warehouse location, and the selected quantity.
Customers can also proactively Cancel a batch, Change the delivery schedule, or Cancel the delivery schedule with simple actions.

Want to send a gift note from your brand? You can also add custom gift notes for individual customers by editing orders before they are packed.

Eco-friendly packaging materials
In order to protect the environment and minimize plastic waste, Boxme never stop improving, adding to our packaging services with eco-friendly packaging materials, wrapping materials (inserted paper, box bags). Replace air bubble, bubble wrap by eco-friendly materials such as honeycomb paper, straw paper.
This replacement not only helps to contribute to environmental protection but also improves the consumer’s perception of the brand. However, this is a special packaging material, so there will be additional costs if brands and customers require it.

Boxme product and service update in 05/2023
In order to optimize and improve the operation process as well as services, Boxme would like to announce the latest update of new features in May 2023.
1. Request return order feature
With this new feature, Boxme’s customers can create a return request. This is also a solution for common cases when customers want to pick up returned items and deliver a new order or change sizes, or new products for customers.
Customers can actively choose a return reason such as allowing the customer to receive a new product if the original product is lost or damaged in transit or a one-way return. This helps avoid customers receiving damaged products and having to wait an extra long time to receive new products.
Adding this feature helps to ensure reliability for customers, creating the best experience when shopping.
This new feature also gives you the option to recall the product if it is faulty or not working properly. This helps to ensure that products sold on e-commerce applications meet quality standards and that customers can use the products they have purchased with peace of mind.
In the right column, Customers can select a warehouse they want to receive. After adjusting the recipient information and entering the return reason, you can click create to complete the request.

2. Adding damaged goods by expiry report and branded packaging material report
Boxme adds 2 reports of damaged goods and packaging materials:
Damaged goods by expiry report: Help customers look up the number of products by date similar to A-level products
Branded packaging material report: Export a report of packaging materials used by the warehouse

3. Divide the product shelf life into two purpose
In order to provide reasonable warehousing strategies and ensure the best condition of goods, Boxme updates and separates the expiry date into 2 items including:
- Minimum inbound shelf-life
- Minimum outbound shelf-life

4. Schedule delivery time to the warehouse
With the purpose of helping customers be more proactive in creating convenient warehousing requirements and avoiding wasting time, Boxme has added a feature to schedule delivery to the warehouse.
Taking the initiative to schedule the delivery in advance at the same time makes it convenient for customers to enter without being affected by waiting when the previous customer and can also help Boxme proactively arrange warehouse space and human resources to support warehousing.
For this feature, the Boxme system will automatically arrange the delivery time to the warehouse based on the CBM of the number of orders to be processed and the warehouse’s performance.

Boxme Launches New Warehouse In Long Bien, Ha Noi
Boxme always focuses on investing in building warehouse infrastructure to ensure convenient storage and speed of transportation for customers. With the goal of constantly expanding and growing our network, we are pleased to announce: Officially opening a new Fulfillment Center in Long Bien, Hanoi on April 25, 2023.

Boxme’s new logistics center is located at Hateco ICD Logistic Center, No. 1 Huynh Tan Phat Ward, Sai Dong B Industrial Park, Long Bien, Hanoi. This is a convenient area by:

Boxme always wants customers to feel safe when using our service so we strive every day to optimize the operation process of our service. For the convenience of sellers, Boxme would like to inform customers our service agreement in 2023.
1. Operating Criteria of E-commerce platforms in Vietnam
To achieve high business efficiency on e-commerce platforms, sellers need to understand the criteria for operating e-commerce platforms such as:
- Cancellation rate
- Package not ready (PNR)
- Shipped on time (SOT)
- Fast Fulfillment Rate
- Return Rate
- Priority shipping rate
Each e-commerce platform such as Shopee, Lazada, Tiktokshop, or Tiki has its own operating criteria. To catch up with the operation and fulfillment time to have the most suitable retail strategy, the seller can base on the bellow chart.

2. Boxme Service Agreement
Since February 2023, Boxme will apply a new Commitment to services: Outbound, inbound, inventory management, and order fulfillment quality.

I. Outbound
Normal orders: Boxme commits packing in 6 business hours from order create time and shipped on time in 24 hours from order create time.
Fulfillnow: Boxme commits packing in 45 minutes with B2C orders and 2 business hours with B2B orders from order create time.
Priority: Boxme commits packing in 2 business hours from order create time. If orders are created before 2PM, Boxme will hand over before 8PM the same day. If order are created after 2PM, Boxme will hand over before 12AM the next day.
B2B: Boxme commits packing in 6 business hours from order create time and will hand over 24 hours from order create time.
II. Inbound
For products requiring special storage conditions beyond our capability or smuggled goods, goods with no clear origins, goods that are not licensed by regulatory authorities, we reserve the right to refuse to store these products.
Goods will be loaded into Boxme’s warehouse within 48 hours since the shipment status is changed to “Received at the warehouse” .
For bulky, specific products that require special support, please contact our sales department or send inquiries to support@boxme.asia for support.
III. Inventory Management
Inventory Accuracy: Periodically check the inventory once a quarter and compare the inventory difference between the system and the actual. This is including cases of damage when stored at the warehouse.
Inventory Report: Boxme will send inventory reports of aging stock, expiry reports, and slow-moving once a week.
IV. Order fulfillment quality
Orders are packed properly: Boxme’s KPI will calculate based on wrong/missing items and wrong packaging standard.
Returns/Unknow parcels are provided in accordance with the regulations: Boxme will calculate based on claims such as: providing missing order information or late delivery of order information
Returns inbound: Boxme will handle problem in 24 hours
3. Conclusion
Boxme always makes constant efforts to improve service quality, applies automatic indexing systems to fully transparent the operation process, and listens to suggestions from customers.
In 2023, in addition to announcing a new service performance index, we will apply ISO 9001 standards and processes to ensure stable and seamless operation for customers.
